Children Education Help

In many impoverished communities, children don’t have the opportunity to receive an education. Some don’t have resources like books or uniforms, leaving children to fall behind without the support to catch up. Youth drop out of school to support their families and never go back. And entire school systems are understaffed, failing to provide adequate education to the children who live there. Lack of education increases the likelihood of involvement in drugs, gangs and other risky behaviors. It’s easy to see how an absence of education spirals into a cycle of poverty. When you make a gift to our education programs, you provide the resources, tutoring programs, computer/internet access and more, for children from kindergarten through high school and beyond. GIDF mission as a charity for children’s education helps  equip students motivated to learn with the tools they need to access and succeed in school.

Poverty and the COVID crisis make accessing education very difficult for disadvantaged children in the USA and around the world. More and more educational activities are trending toward internet-based online learning. And whether in-person classes are occurring or not, they need to have tools for online learning and other necessary support and services to excel in their studies, carving out a better future for themselves and their families.

GIDF is a vital new foundation for Children educational Programs. It is a deep and effective investment in a disadvantaged child’s education in multiple ways. Through the fund, we provide ongoing support to students with essentials like laptops, tablets, and internet access.  Additionally, the fund supports college entrance exam prep materials, backpacks stuffed with school supplies, and more.

Most children globally don’t even receive a quality primary education, and the consequences are far-reaching. Children who aren’t in school are at greater risk of exploitation and lower earning potential. For those who are in school, issues like poorly trained teachers, large class sizes and lack of learning materials mean that too many young people still cannot read or write. As a charity for children’s education, GIDF  addresses barriers to education and works with communities and local governments to improve access and quality of the education children receive – making sure girls and children with disabilities are included. We focus on early years, primary and secondary education as well as involving families and communities in supporting children’s learning.
